Commercial Water Damage – Prattville Office Building

Commercial water damage was suffered by this Prattville office building when the sprinkler system on this floor malfunctioned. The building management helped prevent extensive damage with their quick actions. They were familiar with SERVPRO of Prattville and immediately called us when they discovered the flooded section of the building the first thing in the morning. We wet vacuumed the carpeting to remove the majority of the water. However, our moisture detection instruments indicated that the subflooring had retained moisture, so we had to remove the carpeting and padding to dry the subfloor properly. We used commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to facilitate the drying process. When the drying was completed, new padding and carpeting were installed.
