Wetumpka Storm Damage to a Home

The rainwater did not drain properly away from the foundation of this Wetumpka property. The resulting water gained entry, ironically through the side door, and did some minor flooding to this area of the house. The tile flooring mitigated the water damage so the focus was on removing the pools of water, cleaning up the debris carried in with the water, and drying the baseboards and door casing, before the final step. The air movers increased the rate of evaporation which permitted the moisture to be captured by two dehumidifiers which are not visible in this photo.
